Celebrate Juneteenth in Tiburon. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining ''June'' and ''nineteenth'', it is celebrated on the anniversary of the order issued by Major General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas.
Enjoy the unique view from the water, including the breathtaking sights of Tiburon, Belvedere, Sausalito, San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, and the surrounding areas. Bring your own dinner for a picnic on the bay! Tables and chairs both outside and inside are provided. Boarding is first come first serve.
