The Great Shakeout

The Great Shakeout worldwide earthquake drill is scheduled for October 21^st at 10:21 am.  Every year (except last year due to circumstances related to the Pandemic) the Town of Tiburon,  City of Belvedere and all of the Schools on the Tiburon Peninsula have participated in this earthquake drill.  We begin the drill by sounding the sirens and then ask everyone to duck, cover and hold.  During this time we ask that everyone reflect on their own personal preparation.  If this had been a real earthquake, do you have the supplies you need at home for the next 5-7 days.  If you were at work do you have the supplies you need.  Do you know how to communicate with your family and are they okay if you are unable to get home to them for a prolonged period of time?
