Steve Baughman & Patrice Haan Once Upon a Harp - a Celebration of Irish Music. The last of the Irish bands, Turlough O'Carolan was a blind Celtic harper, composer and singer, who is considered by many to be Ireland's national composer. Steve Baughman, a pioneer of arranging the music of Turlough O’Carolan for solo guitar. His “pandemic project “was to arrange, master, and then record a CD of the music, all on one guitar. In this program he will be sharing pieces from “Once Upon a Harp.” Home (celticguitar.com) Patrice Haan is thrilled to be playing harp beside Steve. A composer and singer-songwriter herself, Patrice has long been an acolyte of O’Carolan’s music. Former director of the nonprofit Healing Muses, most days Patrice plays harp for cancer patients.
